Truro Art Society Welcome 2025
















We have a new venue, a new day and a new time. In the past we have had midweek evening meetings. Personally, I remember Archbishop Benson School and Truro High School.  However, these progressively became too expensive and too inconvenient. Many of us can't drive or don't like driving at night.

WORKSHOPS: Vacant
   The Community Centre at Kea (Kresen Gemeneth, Ke), right next to Playing Place bus stop proved to be ideally situated; plenty of parking for those who still drive and plenty of buses for those who don't. There's a well-lit room for good visibility and a convenient little kitchen for a coffee break. 
   Time, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30, so not too early or too late, and first Thursday of the month, easy to remember.

   We welcome new members, whether you paint, draw, sculpt, or whatever - or just want to listen to interesting talks and watch demonstrations. We think membership is good value for money.

Relaxing lines/marks. November's meeting was a demonstration by Peter Poulton (no, not the American pulp illustration artist who died in 1972 - it wasn't a seance).
